New York, New York!!!!!

Walking in the city's Downtown area always puts a smile on my face. It is a great place for me to recharge my creative batteries and I am always surprised that I find comfort in all of the noise, hustle and bustle.

Returning back here after living here, what seems like eons ago, I have a new appreciation for all the buildings, and traffic sounds. It is a pleasant change since I had so much distaste for it as a teenager pounding the pavement and going from casting to casting, and sharing an apartment with what seemed like 7 other girls. ( I cannot believe I survived that....)

In any case, New York, I toast to you! You are quickly becoming my muse.

Fire and Rain

Returning back home from New York to miss the harsh winter was a good idea. I had enough of the cold and wanted to dip my toes in the waters of home...Hawai'i.

While there, I often test one of my favorite models, Rain Rusden. I have known Rain since she was about 7 or so, and it is such a great thing that I am able to photograph this gorgeous beauty as a woman.

One of the top models in Hawai'i and a finalist in the Victoria's Secret Model Search, this young woman has the face of an angel and the talent to compete with the most beautiful models internationally. No doubt you will see Rain heat up the industry!
